What To Do This Weekend
You may have already made other plans for this weekend, but there’s still time to cancel them. Instead of going to another tedious cook-out, wedding, or scuba diving expedition, you should come to the Cincinnati Comicon. It technically takes place in northern Kentucky, but it’s close to the river, and is Cincinnati-based in spirit.
As I mentioned yesterday, the Electric Team team–Sam, Abby, and me–will have a table at the con. We will be at C-06. For the visual learners among you, I have created this handy map:
If you look at the bottom of that map you will see that, in addition to lovable nobodies like me, there going to be some really big name comics creators there. This is your chance to finally buy some original art from Chris Sprouse, or get Cullen Bunn to autograph your copy of The Tooth, or . . . oh no, I just noticed that Katie Cook isn’t at the list. Dang it, I wanted to buy another drawing from her.
Anyway! Sam, Abby, and I will be at our table, and we will be selling copies of The Electric Team #1! If you are in the area, come on by, and check it out.
The Cincinnati Comicon will be at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, at One West RiverCenter Boulevard, on Saturday, September 12, from 10-7, and Sunday, September 13, from 10-5. Children 12 and under get in free.
